About the Coach

Jalpan Bhatt

A chess player since childhood, Jalpan Bhatt has spent over two decades mastering the deepness of the game and sharing it with the next generation. A certified AICF Basic Trainer and FIDE-rated player with a peak rating of 2078, he has represented Gujarat State at the national level numerous times.

Since 2013, Jalpan has been training players from grassroots to advanced levels. His method focuses on building long-term strategic thinking, identifying each student’s unique strengths, and fostering a warm, positive environment where complex ideas become clear.

He has passed the All India Chess Federation Basic Trainer Examination for Chess in Schools, and his students have competed and won at state, national, and international championships around the world.
